Something in which I believe we have progressed is in our interpersonal relationship amongst us as staff members. We have been learning how to manage our emotions and emotional intelligence.

This is something that has been ongoing and consistent, not just a one time thing. Not just knowing what we have to do but also putting into practice what we have to do. In this way, we are also teaching the girls to reinforce with action what is spoken with words.

By doing this, we are able to offer our best selves to be able to work with them. If we are spiritually, mentally, and emotionally healthy as individuals, we will be able to impact the lives of these girls.

This is arduous and individualistic work that is done in a relationship with God.

Without Him, we can do nothing.

Seeing growth in our girls motivates me to know that our work is not in vain.

Having hope and faith that in the proper moment, God will act and act in love.
